Who is Jenn?
Hi, I’m Jennifer Cannon, but you can call me Jenn!
JennCann was founded to help small business owners navigate their marketing needs.
Growing up in a small town in West Texas shaped my appreciation for community and relationship-building, skills I carry with me to this day. After graduating High School, I moved to the Dallas area to attend the University of North Texas (UNT), and brought those small-town values with me—along with a few fun life skills!

I’m passionate about gardening (yes, I’ve adapted my veggie and fruit gardening skills for city life), cooking and baking (the family loves my creations), and woodworking (refurbishing lost treasures is my passion). While attending UNT, I switched my focus from the arts when I found a passion for business and marketing. After graduating from UNT with a BA, I jumped into my first full-time role as a recruiter for a recruitment marketing and advertising agency. I've spent 14 years as a recruiter, across various brands and industries—and I absolutely love it!

My experience in recruiting and at the agency, not only expanded my skill set and network, but also paved the way for launching JennCann in 2012, thanks to a colleague who recognized my knack for helping small business professionals with their marketing needs. Since then, I’ve had the pleasure of supporting 15 clients, with two continuing to partner with me throughout this journey. I thrive on the connections I’ve made and the innovative marketing solutions I’ve had the pleasure to provide.

When I’m not busy consulting and recruiting (or honing my life skills), I love traveling with my family to explore new places. Whether it’s a road trip to the beach, mountains, or a visit to state and national parks, I cherish every outdoor adventure. It’s my way of staying connected to my small-town roots!
